Albergue Casa Tiago

Casa Tiago is a private pilgrim hostel housed in a converted old farmhouse in the small village of Luquin, sitting 1.3 kilometres off the main route along the Montejurra Variant in Navarre. It has been welcoming walkers since 2017 and is run by Tiago and Itzi, who have shaped it into something more characterful than the typical albergue.

The building's origins as a traditional farmhouse give it a rustic feel, and the hosts have preserved some of that heritage through a small ethnological museum on site, offering a glimpse into rural Navarrese domestic and agricultural life. It is a modest but genuinely interesting addition for anyone curious about the culture of the region.

Accommodation is split between shared dormitories with 7 and 8 places, using a mix of bunk beds and low beds, and a private double room. Bed linen and towels are provided. The hostel has a free-to-use kitchen, individual lockers, and covered bicycle storage. Breakfast is available for 4 euros, and basic supplies can be bought on site. The village itself has a bar serving lunch and dinner, so pilgrims are not entirely dependent on self-catering.

The hostel is open from March through November and accepts reservations, which is worth keeping in mind given the limited bed count of fourteen places across the dormitories.
