Albergue La Corona1

This albergue sits along the N-547 in the small rural settlement of Rourís, within the municipality of Arzúa in Galicia, placing it on one of the final stretches of the Camino Francés before Santiago de Compostela. Pilgrims passing through this area are typically within the last two or three days of their journey.

Originally opened in 2013 under the name El Albergue de Boni, the hostel has operated under new ownership and the name La Corona since 2022. It occupies a two-story house with a generous 2,500 square metre garden, which offers considerably more outdoor space than most pilgrim accommodation in the area. For walkers who have been moving through towns and villages with limited room to breathe, the garden provides a welcome place to rest, dry gear, and decompress after a long day on the trail.

The surrounding area is characteristically Galician: green, quiet, and agricultural, with the kind of landscape that characterises the final days of the Camino Francés as it winds toward Arzúa and beyond.
