Village in the parish of San Paio de Buscás, whose church of Romanesque origin shows a striking image of the martyred saint above a blind window. A good coffee stop after a pretty woodland stretch.
A Rúa is a village in the parish of San Paio de Buscás, in Ordes, reached after one of the prettiest short stretches of the stage, an 800-metre woodland path climbing gently beneath the trees from A Carballeira. It's a natural place to stop for a coffee, with bars and rural accommodation in the village.
On the way out, the parish church of San Paio de Buscás deserves a look. Of Romanesque origin, it displays a curious image of the saint shown beheaded above the blind window on its east end. Beyond, the route reaches Vilariño and turns onto a grassy lane shaded by oaks, chestnuts and laurels, the start of what many consider the loveliest section of the entire Camino Inglés.
The Camino through town, with prices where the beds are. Amber is the route; each pin is a place to stay.
