El Cubo de la Tierra del Vino is a small village in the wine-producing region between Salamanca and Zamora. The 'Tierra del Vino' (Land of Wine) refers to the traditional winemaking of the area.
Pilgrims will find an albergue, a bar/restaurant, and basic services. The long stage from Salamanca (35 km) makes this a welcome stop.
The flat, open landscape of the meseta dominates the walking through this section, with vineyards and cereal fields stretching to the horizon.
