La Isla is a small coastal village between Llanes and Ribadesella in eastern Asturias. The village has a small beach, a basic albergue, and a bar/restaurant.

The village has a quiet, rural atmosphere and provides a stopping point for pilgrims breaking the walk between Llanes and Ribadesella into shorter stages.

The coastal scenery along this stretch of the Norte is attractive, with green clifftops, small coves, and views of the Cantabrian Sea.
