Navarrete

Navarrete is a small hilltop town in the heart of La Rioja wine country, between Logrono and Najera. The town is known for its ceramic workshops and the Church of the Assumption with its ornate Baroque altarpiece.

Pilgrims will find albergues, cafes, restaurants, and basic services. Vineyards stretch in every direction, and in autumn the grape harvest is visible from the path.

Navarrete is a popular mid-morning stop for pilgrims leaving Logrono, with its cafes providing a welcome break before the walk to Najera.
