Torremejía

Torremejia is a tiny village between Villafranca de los Barros and Merida, providing a short-stage stopping point before the major city of Merida.

The village has an albergue and a bar/restaurant. Services are basic.

The short stage (16 km from Villafranca, 16.5 km to Merida) allows pilgrims to arrive in Merida with energy to explore the city's extraordinary Roman heritage.
