Casar de Cáceres

Casar de Caceres is a small town just 11.5 km north of Caceres, famous throughout Spain for its Torta del Casar, a creamy sheep's milk cheese with a distinctive soft, almost liquid centre. The cheese has a DOP (Denomination of Origin) designation.
