La Reguera is a small, privately run pilgrim hostel sitting in the Cepedo neighborhood just outside Soto de Luiña, along the Camino del Norte through Asturias. Opened in 2021 and managed by Elena and Jacin, it operates on a donation basis and is exclusively for pilgrims walking the route.
The hostel accommodates up to 11 people across four shared rooms with bunk beds, and comes with the essentials: a free kitchen with microwave and refrigerator, washing machine and dryer (also by donation), and covered storage for bicycles. What sets it apart from more institutional albergues is the community feel - a shared dinner and breakfast are available by donation, giving walkers a chance to sit together at the end of a long day rather than eating alone.
The setting is rural and quiet, tucked 800 meters from the center of Soto de Luiña at the far end of the Cepedo neighborhood. Arriving pilgrims should watch for the Cepedo neighborhood sign and turn right just before reaching the village itself - the hostel is the last house in that cluster, about 200 meters off the main road. It is closed on Saturdays and open from late March through early October, with check-in between 3:00 and 7:00 PM.
