A small, pilgrim-only albergue in Boadilla del Camino with 10 beds, open April through October (Thursday to Sunday), offering community dinners, breakfast, garden camping, and multilingual hosts speaking five languages.
Private Albergue
Juntos Albergue sits in the quiet village of Boadilla del Camino, a small agricultural settlement on the Meseta stretch of the Camino Francés in the province of Palencia. Boadilla is a notable stopping point on this section partly because of the 15th-century rollo jurisdiccional, an ornate Gothic pillory column in the village square that once marked the town's legal authority and still stands as one of the finer examples of its kind along the route.
The hostel opened in 2021 and underwent a change of management in 2025, now run by Elske and Bernd. It is a small, pilgrim-only place with ten beds in a single shared dormitory, which keeps the atmosphere intimate. The hosts speak Spanish, English, French, German, and Dutch, making it accessible to the broad mix of nationalities that passes through on the Camino.
A community dinner is offered each evening at 7pm for 18 euros, with a vegetarian option available, along with breakfast for 7 euros. The half-board rate combines the dormitory bed with these meals. The garden with its terrace and porch gives pilgrims a comfortable place to rest after a long day on the Meseta, and there is also the option to camp in the garden for those who prefer it. The hostel is open from April through October but closes on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, so timing is worth checking before planning an overnight stop here.
