Fillobal

Filloval sits in the province of Lugo on the descent from the Alto do Poio toward Triacastela. The Camino runs through the small hamlet along the mountain road. The setting is the rolling oak and birch forest of central Galicia.

Filloval has been a small Galician hamlet for centuries, part of the wider municipality of Triacastela. The village is mostly farming stone houses scattered along the road, with the parish church holding the centre.
