San Xulián do Camiño

San Xulian do Camino sits in the province of Lugo, in Galicia, just west of Palas de Rei. The Camino runs through the small hamlet.

The hamlet is dedicated to Saint Julian, the medieval saint of hospitality and travellers, a fitting patron for a Camino settlement. The parish church carries his name. The setting is the open Galician farmland on the descent from Palas de Rei toward the river Furelos.

Services in San Xulian are limited. There is an albergue and a bar-restaurant. There is no shop, no pharmacy, and no ATM.
