Briallos

Briallos is a small village in the Galician countryside between Pontevedra and Caldas de Reis. The walking through this area is rural and peaceful, passing through forests, farmland, and small hamlets.

There is a cafe or bar where pilgrims can stop for refreshments. Services are otherwise very limited.

The terrain involves some gentle hills, and the landscape is typical of inland Galicia with its eucalyptus groves, stone walls, and horreos (traditional grain stores). The contrast with the coastal walking of earlier stages is noticeable.
