Labruge

Labruge is a small, quiet coastal village approximately 24 km north of Porto. It has a municipal albergue and a nearby campsite, making it a popular first-night stop for pilgrims on the Coastal route.

A few cafes and a small grocery provide basic food options, though pilgrims looking for a wider choice of restaurants may prefer to push on to Vila Cha or Vila do Conde.

Labruge sits right on the coast, and the beach here is a pleasant spot to rest tired feet after a long first day of walking. The village has a peaceful atmosphere and the sunsets over the Atlantic are worth catching.
