Vila Chã

Vila Cha is a small fishing village about 5 km north of Labruge on the Camino Portugues Coastal route. It has a municipal albergue and a campsite, making it a viable stopping point for pilgrims adjusting their daily distances.

The village sits right on the coast and has a handful of cafes and restaurants near the waterfront. Services are basic but sufficient for an overnight stay. The beach here is popular with locals during summer months.

From Vila Cha, the route continues north along the coast through Mindelo before reaching the larger town of Vila do Conde, where pilgrims will find a full range of services.
