About Carcaboso

Carcaboso is a small village near the famous Jerte Valley in northern Extremadura/southern Castilla y Leon. The Jerte Valley is renowned for its spectacular cherry blossom display each spring (usually late March to early April).

The village has an albergue, a bar/restaurant, and basic services. The surrounding countryside is green and agricultural.

Pilgrims walking in spring may be rewarded with the sight of the cherry blossoms in the valley, one of the most beautiful natural displays in Spain.
