It is managed by María Concepción and operates year-round, making it a reliable option outside the busy summer season when the Camino Francés can stretch accommodation to its limits.
The hostel offers 30 beds spread across five dormitory rooms, with bunks and low beds accommodating groups of four to eight. Prices run from 15 to 20 euros per night depending on the season, with a double room also available at 50 euros. The setup is straightforward and practical: a free kitchen for self-catering, a washing machine and dryer, covered bicycle storage, and the option to arrange breakfast for 4 euros or a cooked dinner. Pets are welcome, which is less common along the Camino and appreciated by walkers travelling with animals.
Los Arcos itself sits roughly 28 kilometres east of Logroño and is a natural stopping point on the Camino Francés. The town's centrepiece is the Church of Santa María, whose ornate Gothic and Baroque interior is worth a visit before or after the day's walk.
