Albergue de Peregrinos Cuatro Cantones

Cuatro Cantones is a well-established pilgrim hostel in the centre of Belorado, sitting directly on the Camino Francés route through the Castile and León region of Spain. Open since 2002, it is one of the more characterful accommodation options in this small but historically interesting town, which has served travellers on the road to Santiago for centuries.

The hostel offers 65 beds across six dormitories, ranging from smaller six-bed rooms to a larger twenty-bed space, with both bunk beds and lower beds available. Prices vary by dormitory, running between 19 and 22 euros per night. It operates exclusively for pilgrims, which keeps the atmosphere oriented around the walking community.

What sets Cuatro Cantones apart from more basic albergues is the garden with a swimming pool, open from March through October, and a glamping area featuring igloo-style rooms for those who want something a bit different. In summer, massage and yoga services are also available on site. The bar-restaurant serves a community dinner each evening for around 18.50 euros, with takeaway breakfast available for those making an early start.

Practical facilities include a washer and dryer, refrigerator, microwave, covered bicycle storage, and bed linen and towels. The hostel issues the Credential del Peregrino and accepts advance reservations. Check-in runs from 13:00 to 21:30, with closing at 22:00. The season runs from mid-March to late October.
