The Isaac Santiago Pilgrim Hostel is a municipal albergue in Los Arcos, on the Camino Francés, open exclusively to pilgrims walking the route. It sits just off the path near the town library, making it easy to find without straying far from the way.
The hostel has been operating since 1996 and was substantially renewed in 2015. It is managed by the Friends of the Camino de Santiago Association of Los Arcos, with day-to-day hospitality provided by volunteer hospitaleros from a Belgian association, continuing a tradition of volunteer-run pilgrim care that has long been a feature of the Camino.
With 72 beds spread across dormitories ranging from 8 to 34 bunks, this is a reasonably large facility for a small town. The price of 8 euros a night puts it among the more affordable options on the route. A free kitchen, lockers, laundry machines, and bicycle storage cover the practical needs of most walkers. One useful addition is the afternoon massage service offered by a physiotherapist on site, costing between 10 and 20 euros, which many pilgrims find welcome after the long stage from Logroño or Estella. Camping is also available for those who prefer sleeping outside.
The hostel is open from March through October, accepting arrivals from noon until 10 in the evening.
