About This Stage
The route crosses several ridges with significant elevation changes throughout the day.
The terrain is demanding and remote, with the path passing through dense eucalyptus forest and exposed hilltops. The Galician mountains can be foggy and wet even in summer, adding to the challenge. Services are minimal between the two towns.
Abadin is a small Galician town with basic services including accommodation and a few restaurants. The town marks the beginning of a slightly easier section heading south towards Santiago.
Terrain: Steep Galician hills, forest trails, exposed mountain sections, rural lanes
