O Cádavo

O Cadavo is a small village in the green hills of inland Galicia, between A Fonsagrada and the city of Lugo on the Camino Primitivo. The village has an albergue, a bar/restaurant, and basic services.

The surrounding landscape is typical inland Galicia, with dairy farms, stone walls, eucalyptus groves, and scattered granite hamlets. The walking is gently undulating.

O Cadavo provides a quiet overnight stop before the longer walk into Lugo, one of the most historically significant cities on the Primitivo.
